What amenities would make that space conducive to outdoor gatherings? Consider lighting, electrical outlets, and perhaps outdoor speakers. Think about storage for outdoor activities and furniture in the off-season. And, carefully choose the access point(s) between inside and outside–you won’t want muddy shoes on your clean carpet!
